I am writing to report a case of data entry job fraud that I recently encountered. I believe this incident involves fraudulent activity, and I hope your esteemed department can take the necessary steps to investigate and address the issue.
A few days ago, I came across an online advertisement for a data entry job opportunity. The advertisement promised substantial compensation for simple data entry tasks. Intrigued, I contacted the provided email address to inquire about the position. I received a prompt response, along with details about the job requirements and compensation package.
As the correspondence progressed, I noticed several red flags that led me to suspect the legitimacy of the job offer. Firstly, the communication was solely via call with inappropriate words, with no official company website, contact number, or physical address provided. Additionally, which raised suspicions about the authenticity of the employer.
Furthermore, the employer requested a registration fee to secure the data entry position, citing administrative expenses and training materials. This demand for upfront payment raised significant concerns, as reputable companies typically do not ask for money from prospective employees during the application process.
I had given them my aadhar card photo and my e-sing so they made an agreement which they will start torturing me after my date completion , but I am concerned that others might fall victim to this fraudulent scheme. I believe that my experience points to a potential data entry job scam that is preying on unsuspecting individuals seeking employment opportunities.
I kindly request that the Cyber Cell investigate this matter further to identify the culprits behind this fraudulent job offer and prevent them from exploiting more individuals. I have attached copies of the email correspondence and any relevant information I gathered during this process to assist in your investigation.
Thank you for your attention to this matter. I trust that your department will take the appropriate actions to bring these fraudsters to justice and protect the online community from such scams
