Sir it’s been above 5 months since I lodged the claim of my operation of chronic suppurative otitis media right ear for rs 51382. I got admitted on 12/04/2017 and got discharged on 13/04/2017 from kanag hospital, Meerut. I have taken oriental insurance royal mediclaim policy in feb 2016. It took raksha tpa above 2 months to understand this thing and they rejected the claim saying that policy duration is below 1 year. I have been providing them with each and every document since last 5 months still they are showing my claim non payable . They also asked for the doctors certificate which I send them by courier as well as on mail. After that also they didnt take any action on it . When asked for the reason they said that they didnt receive any courier while i checked the status of the courier it showed delivered. I again mailed them the document. They acted so irresponsibly. After so many months also they didnt pass the claim. When asked for the reason they say that ask your oriental company. When I contacted oriental insurance concerned person he says that it will be told by raksha tpa. This reckless behaviour of theirs is intolerable. I have been following them since last 5 months but they don’t take any action on it. I am lodging this complaint against oriental insurance and raksha tpa for their irresponsible behaviour, poor service , making fool of customers by referring them here and there and not passing my claim after being provided with every document. What is the use of taking their insurance policies if they cannot help their customers. I am attaching 1-2 screenshots of the mail send by them asking for same document again. Kindly look into the matter.
