In Chennai, almost all the aavin parlours barring a very few sell the aavin milk at more than MRP rates. Phonetic and email complaints preferred with AAVIN authorities yield no results. Recently, I went to purchase milk from the AAVIN parlour at the central avenue, KORATTUR , CHENNAI – 600080 with the parlour code AVM 136v093. He demanded Rs.24 for a packet with MRP 22.50. When I questioned, the vendor started abusing me and tried to assault me physically. My complaint to AAVIN head quarters at Nandanam , Chennai seems to have yielded no result. One employee of AAVIN called me for spot verification and went away. The shop is selling the milk at the same exorbitant rates.
