On 4th November 2021 I placed on order for the purchase of a RO Water purifier in exchange with my old and running RO system. This was during Diwali sale and there were discounts on offer . The delivery agent came with the item concerned on 08/11/2021 and asked for the old RO which was for exchange . When he was informed that its in the kitchen and in running condition and could he take it it down , he refused and said I should reshedule delivery and i should keep the old RO dismantled next time . Fine . After speaking with amazon customer care I asked for delivery on 10/11/2021 at around 5 pm and by 4 pm I had my old RO dismantled . On the 10 th November I got delivery agents phone number and information about delivery timings on my mobile. I rang him up and he confirmed delivery for that day.
At 6 pm when none from amazon came I rang the delivery agent who did not pick up my phone and my amazon app showed that the order was cancelled ! Reason given for cancellation was ” Exchange Verification Failed ” ! NO ONE came to my house for delivery and pick up so where was the question of ” Verification ” of exchange product ?? This was a cancellation done one sided by amazon in the most horrible way and callous way . No one bothered to answer ….WHY was my order cancelled at the last minute and a totally false reason given. I am enclosing a screen shot of the reason for failed delivery . I missed out on Diwali discounts and felt humiliated at the way I was treated by these corporates . No explanation given , no reply to emails. Nothing.
