Refund from Asia Steel – Rs.5,000/-: Mr. Navin Prasath of Ullagaram, Chennai 600091, Tamil Nadu had ordered for an antique oval sofa plus other items by paying a sum of Rs.5,000/- in advance on 04-11-2017. Even after three months he did not get delivery of the products. Mr. Navin Prasath posted his complaint with ICF on 08-02-2018 and the matter was taken up with the dealer, following which the customer got refund on 13-02-2018. Ullagaram, Chennai 600091, Tamilnadu

Kotak Mahindra Bank changes a/c type without information – deduct charges from account: Mr. Atul Jain of Indore had posted a complaint on 03-09-2009 in the Forum with regard to Kotak Mahindra Bank changing his account type and debiting his account for non-maintenance of average quarterly balance. ICF took up the matter with Kotak Mahindra and the matter was finally resolved. Kotak Mahindra confirmed refunding the debited amount. Atul Jain, Indore

Refund from Shopkaar.com – Rs.5,999/- : Gautam Kumar Prasad, Kathara, Bokaro 829116, Jharkhand ordered for a Redmi mobile worth Rs.5999/- on website shopkaar.com through online payment. After a week, this site had been closed and his order did not get delivered. He also did not get his refund. Mr. Prasad posted his complaint with ICF on 05-01-2018 and the matter was taken up with the parties concerned. After follow-ups, Mr. Prasad got refund on 13-01-2018. Refund from Carenaukri – Rs.2714: Mr. Eram Rizvi of Kondhwa, Pune-48, Maharashtra received a call from careNaukri representative with an offer of paid service for job calls from companies. Mr. Rizvi registered and paid Rs2714 but after registration they again asked to pay about 7000 to register for two more module that will help him get the direct call from company HR. Refund from Vynam.com – Rs.3,100/-: Mrs. Sheetal Ghuge of Washim, Maharashtra ordered Saree from Vynam.com by making a payment of Rs.3,100/- on 05-03-2018. However, she did not receive the order even after a month and her telephone calls to the customer care did not yield any fruitful results. The money got debited from his bank account but he did not receive the same in the Paytm account. He was told that the money will be refunded but refund was not done.
