Refund from Asia Steel – Rs.5,000/-: Mr. Navin Prasath of Ullagaram, Chennai 600091, Tamil Nadu had ordered for an antique oval sofa plus other items by paying a sum of Rs.5,000/- in advance on 04-11-2017. Even after three months he did not get delivery of the products. Refund from Samsung for Samsung Grand 2 – Rs.21,000/-: Mr. Akash Doshi of Mumbai, Maharashtra (akashdoshi009[@]yahoo.in) had persistent complaints with his new Samsung Grand 2. He had made frequent visits and complaints to the service center but still the issue did not get resolved. He posted his complaint with ICF on 06-11-2014 and matter was taken up with Samsung. Refund from Hitplay: Piyushi Gupta (piyushigupta9[at]gmail.com) of Manesar, Gurgaon, Haryana had ordered a citrus spritzer-home on 15/05/2013. However, the product did not give the desired service as mentioned on the website. The customer had repeately sent e-mails and was assured that they would arrange for reverse pick-up and refund. Discount money from Shriram Transport Finance agent – Rs.5000/-: Mr. Arnab Sengupta, Bangalore, Karnataka (dream_arnab[@]yahoo.com) posted a complaint on behalf of his mother with regard to non-receipt of discount/commission from the liaison officer of Shriram Transport Finance. Refund from Subhbandhan matrimony – Rs.4,000/-: Mr. Harsimran Singh of Amritsar, Punjab registered with Subhbandhan matrimony services for suitable proposals by making a payment of Rs.4,000/-. As per the consumer, the agency provided fake number and contact for proposal was not genuine. Mr. Singh requested for refund which was denied. Refund from Shoposum – Rs. 699/- : Mrs. Rashika of Bangalore, Karnataka ordered fastrack watches from Shoposum website. The watches ordered were Fastrack brand but when she opened the courier they had delivered a local brand watches. She raised return return request as mentioned in their website but there was no response from them. The customer posted her complaint at ICF on 10-05-2018 and the matter was taken up with them. Refund from Akbar Travels (Rs.4,880): Dr Lopamudra Moharana of Rue La De Lauristan, Pondicherry had posted her complaint on 03-12-2013 regarding non-receipt of refund for the flights cancelled by Air India without any information to the passenger. Mrs. Lopamudra had been communicating over email and telephone with Air India and Akbar travels but refund was not forthcoming. Refund from Paytm – Rs.400/-: Mr. Rahul Aggarwal of Punjab (Email: rahulaggarwal248[@]gmail.com) wanted to add 400rs paytm cash to his paytm wallet. The money got debited from his bank account but he did not receive the same in the Paytm account. He was told that the money will be refunded but refund was not done. Refund from Flipkart – Rs.7,980/: Ms. Rema Chongtham of Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh (rchongtha[at]gmail.com) ordered a Micromax Canvas Doodle 3 A102 on Flipkart vide order No OD40704062764 on 4th July and receive on 9th July. When she checked the phone it showed that sim card not detected and sometime the phone did not switch on. She made a return request on the same day but was rejected.
