Refund from Spice Jet – Rs.5,908/-: Ms. Bidisha Chakraborty of Barasat – 700126, West Bengal (Email: bidishachakraborty0106[at]gmail.com) cancelled her Spice Jet, Mumbai-Kolkata-Mumbai ticket on 10-06-2014. Even after two weeks she did not get her money back even as Spice Jet kept maintaining the refund has been processed. Short refund from Makemytrip.com – Rs.18,370/- : Mohammad Azam of Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh (Email: sahibeazam[at]gmail.com booked two return tickets on makemytrip.com few months ago by paying Rs.33,786. Subsequently, due to some personal issues he cancelled the booking. MMT informed that they he would get a refund of Rs.25,786 after deductions. However he got only Rs.7,016/-. Replacement of Khadai by Homeshop18: Pratibha Goel of Ambala cantt, Haryana (gpratibha.phy[@]gmail.com) bought a tawa, fry pan and khadai set from HS18. The handle of the khadai was broken on delivery. She called the customer care of HS18 for replacement but they said the customer has to courier it back to HS18 otherwise they will not replace. Replacement of Micromax mobile by lalajionline.com: Mr. Suraj Kakwani of Thane, Maharashtra(Email: suraj_8288(at)hotmail.com) purchased one Micromax mobile from lalajionline.com. The mobile had camera problem and was replaced by Lalaji. However, even the replacement mobile was a defective one. Repeated follow-ups by Mr. Kakwani produced no results and he posted his complaint with ICF on 27.11.2012. The issue was resolved by replacement of the mobile by Lalaji. Lalajionline.com

Complaint against BSNL for not attending to broadband shifting application: Mr Amaresh Chandra Das of Kavoor, Mangalore-15, Karnatak had applied in June 2009 for shifting of his telephone with broadband to his new address. His application remain unattended till 23-09-2009 when he posted his complaint in the Forum. ICF took up the matter with BSNL officials who were kind enough to resolve the issue. Complaint against ABN Amro for debiting twice for a single IRCTC ticket booking transaction – Rs.1290/-: Jahnavi Ayachitam of Bangalore had tried to book train ticket from IRCTC(site using ABNAMRO debit card on 2nd May 2009 for Rs.1290 from Bangalore to Hyderabad.
