Complaint against Make My Trip for refund delayed for more than six months – Rs.9,993/-: Claudia Jones of Goa (happyecoclaudia(at)yahoo.co.uk) had to cancel a flight to Thailand on 30-04-2009 that was booked through Make My Trip. She was assured that she would receive a full refund. She did not get the refund even after six(6) months. She posted her complaint in ICF on 1.11.2009 and ICF submitted the complaint to Make My Trip. Ms. Claudia Jones got her full refund on 08-11-2009. Makemytrip - 09.11.2009

Refund from Expedia.com – Rs.9,925/-: Ms. Namrata Arora of ASHWINI LAYOUT, BANGALORE, KARNATAKA (Email: namratagrover27(at)gmail.com) For cancellation of a US domestic flight booked at Expedia.co.in, the customer care personnel told that Ms. Arora would get the refund in 6-10 working days after deduction of INR 1000. However, she did not get the refund. She posted her complaint with ICF on 30-11-2012 and finally got her refund by 8-12-2012. Expedia.com

Refund from Flipkart – Rs.249/-: Mr. Tapas Kar of Dum Dum, Kolkata, West Bengal (Email: tapaskar007@gmail.com) ordered “Karpine Flip Cover for Asus Zenfone 5 A501CG” from Flipkart.com on 13 September,2014. But he received a damaged product and was assured of refund by Flipkart. But the defective product was not picked up and no refund was made even after repeated requests. MakeMyTrip makes short-payment of refund amount – Rs.2,064/- Mr. Girish Kumar Khare of Kanpur had posted a complaint with us on 07-07-2009 with regard to the short-payment received from MakeMyTrip towards cancellation of Tatkal Waiting List ticket for Kanpur to New Delhi route.
