Refund from Travolook – Rs.29,775/- : Mr. Arpit Makwana of Thane, Maharashtra tried to book tickets on the portal Travolook however the booking got cancelled due to fare expiration. Customer wrote to the portal for refund however did not receive the same. Customer approached ICF on 15-01-2021 and the matter was taken up with Travolook. Finally customer got refund by 03-02-2021. Refund claim against Yatra.com – Rs.5089/-: Mr. Sumeet Kumar of Delhi (sumeetkumardas(at)hotmail.com) had booked a ticket from yatra.com from Delhi to Bangalore on 5th Jan 2010 and subsequently cancelled it on the same day. Yatra said that money 4839.00 will be refunded by 6th of same month. But he did not receive refund even after two weeks. But he received a damaged product and was assured of refund by Flipkart. But the defective product was not picked up and no refund was made even after repeated requests. Cancellation of ticket by Spicejet – Rs.5,000/-: Ms. Nidhi Mishra, Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh had bought round-trip ticket on Mangalore-Delhi-Mangalore sector for two passengers. The ticket was later split due to change in one of the passengers. But the product did not work and was sent back to Homeshop18. He however did not get refund and posted his complaint with ICF on 05-01-2015.
