Incidents of fake job offers, fraudulent job offers, misleading job opportunities have risen enormously. These are carried out through online services using websites, fake emails or through SMSs. The end result for those who opt for such fake offers is loss of money. So, how to avoid such situations.
Do not respond to or click links provided on unprofessional / unsolicited emails. Do not share your financial details, credentials or sensitive data(like card details, OTP, password, etc.)
Such fake / fraud job offers will have vague job description and unprofessional incorrect wordings.
Avoid offers that require you to make payment to get the job. Those who involved in such fake offers will ask you to make payment through UPI to an individual name rather than an entity.
In the event of you losing money under the above circumstances, report this immediately to cyber cell and also approach the local police station.
