I uploaded my resume in Talent.com to search for jobs and applied for one job too on 11th September 2022. (It was work from home ) however, I didn’t get any reply but on 16th I got a call from a lady called Dxxxxxa , saying that she is calling from placement.com , and my resume is short listed. I asked her to give details of the company, she told they are in partner with placement .com. She told they have work form home offers but for creating ID and resignation I need to pay rs. 700 and provided me an upi ID.
I was very doubtful so , I asked her more details regarding their company so she gave the CIN
And told her office is in Hyderabad, AS India private limited.
Although I was extremely doubtful , I somehow got convinced by the way she was talking, she seems to be well trained and tactful in handing their prospective victims.
Later she created an account in 2captch.com, and gave me ID and password which is actually a free website.
I confronted her saying you have cheated me, she told me so many people cheat and get cheated you first go and catch them. I asked her for my money refund for which she straight away denied and told me that she takes that money to convert dollar in to rupees as that website pays in dollars.
