I placed an order on Swiggy on 18-02-2025 from Boss Chicken restaurant. The total bill was ?335, which I paid in advance. The order included:
Chicken Dum Biryani (?160) – Delivered
Chicken Chilli (?200) – Not delivered (Out of stock)
Since Chicken Chilli was out of stock, Swiggy only delivered the biryani. When I requested a refund for the undelivered item, they refunded only ?67 instead of ?200.
I contacted Swiggy’s support multiple times, but they refused to provide a valid explanation and insisted that ?67 is the final refund amount. This is unfair and violates consumer rights, as I paid for an item that was never delivered.
I request the authorities to take action and ensure that Swiggy provides a full refund of ?200 for the undelivered item.
