?I am ardent fan of xiaomi and all my family is filled with your company gadgets. I bought a Redmi4 phone from amazon and i got a display problem on 22 May 2018 and my warranty is expiring on 23 May 2018. In this connection, i visited service center at our place ie Tirupati ,Andhra Pradesh. I had been to service center by 5PM and to my surprise the girl who's sitting there and handling service request in service center was totally reluctant to take my mobile, since they said that they cannot accept the phone because they have to take an approval from company.
Service center working hours was upto 7pm but she has given very strange explanation which is highly illogical. I came down from my work place driving about 16 kms and this was my experience.She said me to come tomrow ie on 23 may 2018 at 10:30am.(Which is totally impossible since i work for a college and evening time is the only possibility). Due to my inability, i hadnt argued with them and next day ie on 23 May 2018 i had an interview for which i was out station.Now my phone warranty has been over. Whose mistake is this?.
Couple of times,when my phone had same complaint i had similar sort of experiences and they have accepted the phone for change of displays in the past during 4-5pm but on 22 may 2018, they hadnt taken my request. I pleaded them to take phone for servicing since 23 may 2018.
Honestly, two ladies who were sitting in the front desk they doesnt know how to handle the customers .They are uncommitted towards serving the customers and they're attitude is highly unprofessional. You can take a survey on the service center and seriously theyre degrading the fame of xiaomi . Now, i really feel insecure buying Xiaomi products due to poor services. Infact, i was quiet enthusiastic about buying upcoming phone Mi8 , but this incident has put me under thought
Due to the above said circumstances, now my phone is out of warranty and it hurts been follower of xiaomi since inception. I request you to kindly accept my phone under warranty , replace the display and oblige. Otherwise, i may be compelled to go to consumer forum on the concerned service center for denying the service on time due to which i lost the time under warranty.
Now they’re telling me that the display is out of warranty and i’ve pay from my pocket.How far is it justified?
