I booked my indigo flight from Indore to Delhi and pre-booked excess baggage for 6000/- Rs from Indigo’s website.
Because I had to reschedule my flight from 9/3/2023 to 9/2/2023 due to personal reasons. I rescheduled my flight under same PNR. My flight was booked via EaseMyTrip.com. When I reached airport, I was told 6000 Rs was adjusted at the background while I was rescheduling my flight, which I was given no information while I was rescheduling the flight. The confirmation email and price breakdown of the cost didn’t show any adjustment of 6000 Rs and because of excess baggage I was forced to pay 28000 Rs additional at airport.
It feels like a scam that IndiGo (InterGlobe Aviation Ltd) has never sent an email or any text communication to let me know that my 6000 Rs was adjusted and I am supposed be rebook my excess baggage else I will be charged at airport during checkin. Even after multiple complaints IndiGo (InterGlobe Aviation Ltd) is not willing to take responsibility of this issue. There’s no public information available that states if I reschedule my flight all my booked services charges will be auto adjusted and I am supposed to rebook those services again. As a customer, how I am supposed to know that my pre booked services are cancelled without any communication.
And Indigo team calls me at 11:00 pm and 3:00 am to argue with me with new customer agent again and again without any proper response. Even after I have let them know that I live in the US, there’s zero consideration of time and energy that I have to spend on explaining the situation every time to a new customer representative. This is so much of mental harrasment.
As a customer, it’s my right to know via email/text/call or any other form of communication that at backend there are changes made to my reservation.
