I have purchased a Mivi Collar Wireless Earphones (BE5CL-BK) from the website Mivi.in on September 8, 2020.
But even after charging it fully, there are issues while attending calls. The receiver is unable to hear me or is able to hear me very faintly only. Call drops are happening and even I am not able to hear the caller sometimes. I don’t know whether it is an issue with the mic of the BE5CL-BK or something else.
We have tested it several times after fully charging the battery and the calls are still interrupted and not clear. Even the battery drains out too quickly instead of the promised 9-10 hours playtime on 70% volume
I have got the replaced Mivi BE5CL-BK Collar Wireless Earphones from Mivi.com’s side but even that is not working properly. Calls are not connecting and a loud disturbing and deafening noise is coming from the right side earbud when I am trying to dial a new call. We have tested it several times after fully charging the battery and the calls are still interrupted and not clear. Even the battery drains out too quickly instead of the promised 9-10 hours playtime on 70% volume. It looks like Mivi has just sent me another used product of another customer who sent back the defective product like me.
I have registered the warranty of the product and would desire to return the product as soon as possible. Mivi has a policy of replacing the product which it has already done with a defective and used replacement. Mivi took more than a month to send me back the replacement product and now even that is not working well and is creating deafening noises when I am trying to connect the call.
Please arrange to tell Mivi to take back the product and refund the money I spent. I no longer want to use something which is not working. Please understand my situation and help me.
Please call me soon and arrange to return the product and my Rs. 1300/- as it is a REALLY BIG investment from my side

The sound that you hear is an issue with the firmware that they used. The sound can only be heard if the headphone is at 40% battery charge or less. Even if you try to get a replacement, you’ll get new headphones with the same issue as it persists with entire product line. Apparently they force to use AAC which is highly incompatible and is cursed in the Android community.
Tldr version: They took some cheap shitty headphones from China, rebranded them without even testing it and launched it India. This helps them keep costs low.
If someone from Mivi is reading this, please consult a embedded systems engineer and try to only include SBC codec or just drop me an email, I’ll do it for free. It’s most compatible with majority of the devices, doesn’t cost much on the resources and most important of all, WON’T DEAFEN YOUR CUSTOMERS.
They make fool to the customers in the name of services.
