I purchased HP Pavilion 15.6 Inch laptop from M/s Premsons, Chandigarh on 06.09.2021 by paying Rs.58500/- . The device is under warranty upto 05.09.2022.
On 09.11.2021, I started having problems with the laptop and since the system was in warranty, I lodged a complaint with the company for which I was assigned Case Number. The company engineer provided online support to identify and diagnose the problem, but the same could not be resolved.
Subsequently, the company engineer attended to the complaint but could not resolve it. He also replaced the keyboard but to no avail. I was accordingly asked to visit the service centre and leave the laptop for the necessary rectification. The service centre kept the laptop for about two days and returned saying the problem could be resolved by installing the necessary updates. We updated the system as advised, but the problem remained the same. Meanwhile, the company closed the complaint at its end.
However, the system continued to give problems when it became very difficult, I again took the laptop to the service centre. But the company representative advised me to go back and lodge an online complaint. Consequently, matter was again taken up with HP and again on 03.01.2022, HP assigned another Case Number. The company engineer contacted the undersigned and asked me to do some online diagnosis. When the problem persisted, the engineer restored the system settings to default. To our dismay, the problem could not be solved even then.
The company then called up the undersigned and informed that some part would be replaced. The company deputed another engineer to attend the issue on 08.01.2022. The engineer did some diagnostics on the laptop and advised that the problem has been resolved. Even when the problem remained unresolved, the company closed the complaint at its end.
I had no other option, but to again approach the company for resolving the issue. Harassed and embarrassed, I called up the company on 10.01.2022 and when the company could not solve the problem, they asked me to approach the dealer or Microsoft for resolution of my problem.
A new laptop, started giving problems in two months and continued to create problems and embarrassment to me even on date. I am unable to use the same despite having spent a whole lot of money. The product which was supposed to give me comfort and pleasure, actually created stress, mental agony and embarrassment for me. I purchased an hp product and hp is unable to resolve the problem and asking me to go here and there for the resolution of the same.
I, therefore, request the hon’ble Authority to kindly intervene for providing me justice. The company may please be strictly advised to replace the laptop without causing any further troubles to me.
I shall be very thankful for your kind intervention and resolving the issue
