Complaint regarding non-delivery of Rakhi by DTDC

My sister booked courier on 19th Aug from Rakhi which was containing Rakhi. I was constantly checkeing the status of the same. After waiting for it till 26th Aug. I tried calling DTDC several times but no luck. Again i called DTDC on 29th Aug and logged a complaint with them about the same. The complaint number is (12343886). I confirmed the address with them. They said that they will deliver it on the same day or next day. But again after waiting for 2 days i call. ed them but now they were saying that the courier has been returned back to it origin point( RANCHI). The executive said that the attempt was made and as the address was incorrect the courier could not be delivered on 29th Aug. I argued with them that i complaint on 29th itself and confirm the address with them. After arguing with them for over an hour i was fed up and disconnected the call saying that i will lodge a complain. Today i just received message from them saying that the courier has been dispatched to Ranchi. Courier number(K12841786)

    This is the worst courier service in the country. I had despatched a letter on 18th August 2018 with DTDC from Mumbai to Trivandrum. The booking official told it would be delivered on the third day. As it was not delivered after 5 days, I tracked the article to find that the booking date is altered to 21st and the article was in transit. They did not respond properly to my email despite alerting twice. On 11th day they said the article has been sent out for delivery. No regrets, no apologies. They charged Rs. 120 for single page letter which would have reached within half the time if sent by post affixing Rs. 5 stamp only!! Horrible customer service!!!
