I had ordered a box storage bed from flipkart on 17th Oct and the estimated date of delivery was 7th Nov. We were notified by the seller sometimes around 23rd Oct that they would be able to deliver the product by 9th due to some challenges. I was okay with the suggestion. Later around 27th Oct, we again received a call from @hometown(seller) saying that they do not have the item in stock due to the heavy demand on big billion day and so they would not be able to deliver the product before 20th November. I have a mail communication from hometown regarding this.
Since the delivery was being delayed beyond expectation, I was not okay with this and tried connecting with flipkart . @Flipkart told me that they have no such communication from the seller and assured us that we would receive the product by 3rd Nov.
After insisting a lot to contact the seller, we were told that @Flipkart does not have seller details and would not be able to contact them. We were told to wait until 6th Nov and an incident was raised on my behalf after several calls to flipkart.
On 1st Nov, the status of my product was changed to delivered in Flipkart even though I did not receive any product. On contacting Flipkart again, I was again told the same thing to wait till 6th Nov and they will be updating us but again we got no update and the product is still being shown as delivered.Now I’m left with no means to track the order and after connecting 6-7 times with Flipkart, I’m not sure if I will even get my product or a refund for this. Flipkart cannot provide any update on this and I get the same response from every executive that they will get back to me, but no one ever gets back.
