Through Goibibo, I had booked for a hotel (Tara Emerald, Hubli) on 29th Jan and Rs. 1 was deducted from my card. The remaining Rs. 1939 was supposed to get deducted on 16th Feb.
But after the booking, I didn’t get any confirmation on my email/sms. Hence, I wrote to their support team to cancel the booking completely. That time, their team confirmed that there is no booking in my name and also convinced me that the remaining amount Rs. 1939 will not be deducted further.
But Rs. 1939 has been deducted now on 16th Feb from my card and the booking voucher reference given is HxxxxxxxxxxxU. To my surprise, I dont see this booking in my login until now. Otherwise, i would have tried to cancel it on my own. I wrote to their team multiple times, but there is no appropriate response yet. Every time a new person joins the conversation and starts asking the same question. Whenever I try to call your support number, the IVR options won’t work.
Now they need to process this refund of Rs. 1940 immediately, because it’s their fault. The credit card statement is also shared with them for evidence.
