I’m from Mysore, Karnataka. I got tatasky connection in October 2019, I paid rs 5,000 for binge subscription, for which I got, an amazon firestick for, amazon prime membership free for 3 months and some more memberships like this for 3 or 6 months(I don’t remember the exact months for the others). A couple of days ago, I got a message of a deduction of rs 129 for amazon prime membership renewal, so I called tatasky cusotmer care and told them to stop auto renewing the membership, so they are telling me that if I want it to stop, I will have to unsubscribe and return the firestick, but none of their staff mentioned this earlier, that if i wanted to unsubscribe I would have to return the amazon firestick, which is why I bought it, because I thought it was a good deal, because, in the rs 5,000 I paid, they told me they would credit rs 2,500 to my tatasky acoount, and I was getting yhe set top box which was around rs 1,600 to 1,700(I don’t remember the exact amount it was at, at that point of time), that meant I was getting the amazon firestick for just under rs 1,000(rs 700 to rs 800), amazon firestick was of no use for me to be honest, the only I wanted to buy it was because I was getting it for such a low price and thought I could give it to someone who needs it. But now when I said I wanted to stop amazon prime membership, out of nowhere they are asking me to return the amazon firestick, when I explained the same thing to tatasky customer care, one person said, that they only provide “relevant” information required for the installation, and another person told me that she apologizes for that mistake, but I have to return the amazon firestick, and when I asked her to refund the amount I paid for the amazon firestick, she apologized again and told that it’s not possible. I just want them to refund the amount I paid for the amazon firestick and the amount they deduce to renew the amazon prime membership, which will just under rs 1,000. If I leave them now, they’re surely going to deceive and fool more people. So, please help. Thank you.

Escalate the issue in facebook and twitter.. Same thing happened with me..I used tatasky from last 12 year…now due to covid pandemic I am in my home town,my setup box is in bangalore ..They told me to return the Amazon fire stick,if not please pay the subscription charge 399..For returning that device I cant go to bangalore and return ,2nd if I m not using it why I ll subscribe…when they gave me that device no such term and condition given..now they send me message to recover 4000 rupees from my account.its really ridiculous…

I have purchased a fire stick from your costumer service person mr. Kareem and he installed a fire stick of some else’s who is going to surrender it.. Wht I understand at a later stage. Now every month by 10 I am paying my subscription still I don’t get my connection in time.. now for the month of April 22 even I paid 400 still not getting connected and this kareem is not even replying my phones.. shl continue or will someone attend my grievance.. 1390308995 is given no.. may not be my name.. My tata play binge firestick is not working and I complained on 12 August 2022. The technician came and removed it but did not replace it. My subscription was still on. It expired on 25th. Till today, I have not got the replacement of my firestick. Nor have I got my refund for non working subscription. Please help. I already complained 3 times since 25th August. But no action has been taken.

bought a firestick from a guy on olx and he sold me tata sky binge firestick which is of no use. I just want to understand can I use it if I recharge it. But it’s not showing how to activate to my name or for new account.
