I had purchased Whirlpool refrigerator in Aug 2022 and in Dec 2024 cooling is not happening for which we have contacted service center of Whirlpool company. They said there is a leakage of gas in the refrigerator due to which they will have to refill the same and charges will be 1900/- and when we ask reason the this leakage they said this is due to iron grill at the back side, which has rust. I complaint that how can this be done, in two – two n half years who can iron rod will be damaged we keep this refrigerator in safe place without any connection to water and wall.
This issue is due bad quality product was given to us or bad / cheap parts were used in this product which is causing an issue.
Whirlpool people do not have any answer to this also Mr. Sxxxx Gxxxxx which is head of service center of Andheri location is putting all blame to us and assuming there is an issue at our place. He do not see our house and not aware of case and still without care the started giving comments, it seems post sale of product its customers fault if they are facing issue and no moral responsibility of company or their staff to check and understand the customer.
His tone was very rude and irresponsible when i had ask him if he can help me with any other contact for further escalation than he said he is not aware of such escalation policy and there is no other management where we can take this issue.
He was acting like either we pay charges or leave he is not bother about anything. there was negative support from him and no responsibility being part of the company. He said its two years, if quality was bad than issue would have been arise in one year but two years is very very less tenor for Iron Rod to be spoiled which he should learn and understand apart from sale and service.
We have paid 3000/- for service charges and we need this fund to be bare by company being low quality product was given
