Defective kids water bottle

Dear sir , I purchased a kids water bottle from a shop at AF SECTOR -31A, Chandigarh on 14 th AUG 18. Afer one week of normal usage of bottle it was started cracking on bottom and it got separated. And I contacted the manager on 21 Aug 18 about the issue he told that the bottle got damaged due to misusage of kid and you are only the responsible for that damage. He refused to replace the bottle. Price of the bottle is Rs135/-. It may be a less amount but my complaint may be initiated and the shop manager may be held responsible for selling defective material.Thank you sir
