I booked an OYO room at Port Blair for 2N from 22/4/2019 to 24/4/2019. When I reached the hotel “Ryan Residency” I was denied rooms because all the rooms were full and due to poor network, I was not able to contact OYO for help and was forced to find another hotel. On the next day(23/04/2019) they promised me a refund within 7-14 working days. When I contacted them on May 7 to check the status of my refund I was shocked to know that the refund had failed and they didn’t even bother to inform me or reinitiate the refund. Only after I call they sent me a link to fill my bank details.
The refund had failed once more and I filled the bank details two times. Whenever I ask for the status they repeat the same old story that refund takes 7 – 14 days. Even though the 14 working days are over they are still saying 7 – 14 working days. Then they transfer the call to the refund department. The refund team then say that it’s in the final step and will take 1-2 days. This keeps on going and they keep repeating the same dialogues like a malfunctioning tape recorder.
I want my amount of 7210/- refunded immediately to my bank account or else I might have to take this to the consumer forum.
