I ordered a Samsung Galaxy A51 (Prism Crush Blue Color, 128 GB ROM) Smartphone on 11 June 2020 from Flipkart Website and received the product on 15 June 2020. I opened the box, tried to start the device but it didn’t start. I charged it for two hours. It was not showing any signs of charging, still I tried to start it but it was not giving any signs of sound, display or any vibrations.
On 15th of June, I called Samsung Customer Service to see if I can do something. I tried to start the device under the instructions of their technician but it didn’t start. They didn’t register any complaint and directly told us to take the 7 Day Return Policy of Flipkart.
On the same day itself, I contacted the Flipkart Customer Service and explained our problem to the executive, who told us that our problem will be resolved before 22 June 2020. They did nothing concrete throughout the week. Fortunately, I formally registered a return request for my order on 21 June 2020.
From then on, Flipkart is just giving excuses like “We are not able to approve your request” and “There is a technical issue”. Also, they are just wasting my time by repeatedly giving extensions of 2 days and 3 days to solve the issue but nothing happens. The communication with them has been unfruitful since 15 June 2020 and they have not taken any firm action to resolve this issue.
I would like to tell you that I ordered the Galaxy A51 Smartphone because my old phone has now become obsolete. The new phone is of no use and my money of Rs. 25250/- is also stuck. I am really frustrated and feel that I’m being fooled and harassed by their ambiguous answers given by each of their executives who don’t really care about the customer’s problems. I’m afraid that in the name of some hidden policy, they might waste my time and my money.
I humbly request you to investigate this matter and help us out of this harassing situation.
Thanking you in anticipation
