We purchased a Whirlpool Double Door refrigerator through OLX seller Mr. Sxxxxd Kxxxxn who in turn is the proprietor of M/s AF Metro Home appliances.
We bought it on 08-02-21 and delivery made by night 9.00pm. Even after asking to check to check they said switch on the appliance after 3 hours and assured that the item is in perfect working condition. We then opened the item, the item was damaged and not in working condition.
This we informed the seller the same day itself and send the video and details over his WhatsApp number. He assured next day his technician will come and attend the issue. But even after repeated follow-up he didn’t send us technician nor picked up the phone for another 6 days. So then when I messaged him about this irresponsible behaviour, he threatened me of bad consequences. We paid 7000 rupees and we got a completely faulty fridge.
Afterwards we arranged a technician for knowing the actual issue and they submitted report saying that compressor and fridge door to be replaced and it costs 6000 rupees extra.
Kindly take action against this seller. I have complete details about him, his shop, bill and warranty card etc.
Also. the seller sells on OLX and after reporting this issue he is still listed, 100s of customers have faced similar issue in the past 3 years with AF Metro yet no action is taken against them.
