Amazon Pay is convenient for making payments from Wallets and also receiving cash backs and refunds from Amazon transactions. Amazon Pay can be linked to your bank account through UPI for making faster payments. Payments done using UPI are automatically debited from your bank account once it is approved through UPI PIN. There will be instances where customers have mandated auto payment through Amazon Pay UPI. Some examples are Amazon Prime subscription, Kindle subscription etc. The payment mandates are automatically executed on the give due dates. However, what if one wants to delete or pause these mandated auto payments? Is it at all possible? Yes, it is possible to delete or pause the mandates and here is a simple step-by-step guide.
Go to Amazon Pay
Scroll down the App to find ‘Account’ under ‘Manage’ section and click on the same
A new page will open where you will find settings and preferences. Scroll down to find ‘Manage Automatic Payments’ and click on the same
In the next screen it will display the active autopay requests. Click the one you want to manage.
In the next screen you will find details of the auto pay mandated by you. On the top right hand corner you will find ‘pause / delete’. Tap on the same.
In the next screen you will find options to Pause or Delete auto pay with instructions
