Missing MRPs on products sold through Instagram

A lot of India based online sellers that sell on www.instagram.com do not print the MRP on the products they are selling. Instead the ask to direct message them to ask for price. This is not a fair practice as it gives them an opportunity to increase price for items that have high demand. Such sellers should be expected to share the MRPs of items they are selling.

Replacement of Khadai by Homeshop18: Pratibha Goel of Ambala cantt, Haryana (gpratibha.phy[@]gmail.com) bought a tawa, fry pan and khadai set from HS18. The handle of the khadai was broken on delivery. She called the customer care of HS18 for replacement but they said the customer has to courier it back to HS18 otherwise they will not replace. She posted her complaint with ICF on 18-05-2014 and after follow-up with Homeshop18 she got replacement by 24-05-2014. Amballa Cantt., Haryana

Complaint against MakeMyTrip.com for non-receipt of ticket/refund – Rs.8,871/-: Mr. Jaikesh Sudheer of Bangalore (princejake(at)gmail.com) had tried to book a ticket from Dubai to Bangalore on 11-03-2010. The payment was from his ICICI bank account but no ticket was issued by MakeMyTrip. Inspite of his various calls to the cutomer care he neither received the ticket nor the refund. Refund from Suitslabel – Rs.990/-: Ms Dilna D, Trivandrum had placed an order for designer kurtis on Suitslabel 06-04-2019 against cash on delivery. Customer received a different product and not the same as shown in the portal and ordered by her. She emailed to them about the discrepancy but there was no response.
