I have purchased Motorola MotoG 4 plus handset on 22 Jan, 2017. On 10th Jan, 2018, i found my data cable is not charging the mobile set . I visited the motorola service centre at sonepat on 16th Jan,2018 (S&RTrading co, SCO 154 First Floor Sect-15, Sonepat). The Service centre hasnt exchange the data cable and stated the reason “Liquid damage at connector point in data cable”.It is very strange for me , i am also from engineering field. Can anybody from Motorola explain if moisture has eroded the connector pin so what is customer fault.It is purely the plating and material problem of connector. How only 1 connector pin get corrosion not all ? Kind request to Motorola team to exchange my data cable as earliest .
