I would like to complain against Country club, whose salesmem / manager kolkata branch made me to buy their clubs membership by calling me and saying that i have won a contest and they will be giving the prizes only. So i went to their shop at citi centre 2 kolkata, on 25/03/2019. First they sold a membership plan to me which they said is of 90,000 at a price of just 60,000. I was made to pay half of the amount rs.30,000 by credit card only then they allowed us to leave . They made us sign a contract of their company. When i reached home and read the contract there were many terms and conditions which were not told to us and to which i didn’t approve . The contract also had a clause of free look period of 10 days. So i contacted them the next day and wrote mail to the email address they provided in the contract. I also informed regarding my wish to cancel the membership telephonically to the company, both the kolkata and their central office in hydrabad.
They first denied any cancellation then after repeated mailing only they agreed to refund as i had requested to cancel within 3 days of signing the contract.
They said they would refund my money after deducting a charge of 3,800 rs, within 12 weeks. It is around 20 weeks now ( around4.5 months) they have not processed my refund. Each time i mail they reply it will take some more time. Kindly help me to get my refund.
