I have taken a personal loan from ABN AMRO bank for my business and were paying my regular installments (Rs 5300/-) through my saving account by auto debit. In 2010 ABN AMRO bank sold their India operations to RBS Bank and i was approached by bank for re submission of my auto debit form and i got the same signed and changed to my Business account and continue to pay my EMI.
In 2013-14 RBS too closed their operations in India and my last 3-4 EMIs were not debited from my account.
I checked my CIBIL report and it was showing as “0”.
In 2016 I received a call from Kotak Bank that i have to pay some 68,000 against my RBS loan. I asked them to send details as my dues were less then 15000 and i am ready to pay the same against proof of ownership.
I also asked them to share letters and mails sent to me in last 3 years but never received a reply.
I filed a case with CIBIL and CIBIL too wrote 3 mails to reply and submit relevant documents, but Kotak never replied the same.
It is effecting my CIBIL report and now i don’t know whom to report or complain. I also requested to CIBIL that they should remove such accounts where even credit institutes are not providing any detail/reply. Please let me know what should i do?
