I booked a outstation cab for round trip of pune to mahabaleshwar and back to pune for 24hours. The fare displayed by ola during booking was 2711 and after coupon GO20 the fare was 2356 and round trip km allowed was 242.
When the trip started,odometer reading was 30458 and when the trip ended, odometer reading was 30719. Total distance covered was 262 km. However, driver charged me for 352 km and the bill was 3652 which reduced to 3352 after coupon GO20 applied. However, we didn’t travel 352 kms.
Exact itinerary-
Pune(Sus) -> Wai (Ganpati Mandir) -> Panchgani ( Table Land) -> Mapro Garden -> Lingmala WaterFall -> Wilson Point -> Venna Lake -> Pune(Sus). Pune is the staring point. Wai, Panchgani, Mapro Garden, Lingmala, Wilson Point, Venna Lake are intermediate stoppages. Pune is again destination. All routes taken are shortest routes.
We came back to pune within 12 hours. Distance covered was 261 km from car reading and also by itinerary we can calculate. If ola tracks every journeys route, please do the investigation as we have been charged for (352-261) i.e 89 kms. Extra fare charged 89*9 = 819
