Ola Chennai is charging toll charges twice on OMR

Any cars that pass through both these tolls are supposed to pay ?27 at the first toll and collect the token to pass through the next toll free of charge along the same direction of travel.

However, the Ola app is calculating the toll charges twice, i.e., 27+27=?54 on my trips in the invoice under the toll section.

When reported, they are not accepting a problem in the app but denying any refund saying that I have not reported this within 3days of taking a ride.

I never suspected that they would be scamming people like this. I feel cheated by this scam.

I could find 9 instances over the last 3 months. That’s 9*27=?243. I’m sure they have been doing this for more than that.

Now to extrapolate that for a city as big as Chennai, that’s an amount in lakhs everyday that Ola is scamming.
