On 11th August, I took a cab in Ahmedabad. As OLA app was for charging multiple times for the same ride, I checked on “cash” payment option. After the ride, I paid INR 386/- to the driver. However, later, my app deducted INR 386/- from my card again. When I complained, OLA support wrote to me that the driver refused that any cash payment was made, so they shall not reimburse my additional INR 386/-. The app shouldn’t have deducted any money from my card, as I had selected “cash.”
OLA, as I am reading its review on Google Play, is repeatedly charging unfair amount from people. This has to stop. They need to be made to be accountable for people’s money and they can’t continue to dupe the consumers.
