I purchased an Ola Electric scooter, and during the initial delivery/service, the display was not properly fitted. Recently, the display has become dislocated, likely due to that poor fitting.
When I approached the Ola service center, I was told that “Ola is not suitable for Indian roads” and was advised to replace a part that would cost me ?32,000. I find this response completely unacceptable, as the problem seems to be due to faulty installation or poor build quality, not my fault as a user.
This kind of customer service and attitude is disappointing, especially from a brand like Ola. I have also written to their customer care (support[@]olaelectric.com), but there has been no proper resolution yet.
I request Ola Electric to:
1. Acknowledge this as a product/service fault
2. Offer a proper repair/replacement free of cost or at a fair price
3. Ensure accountability from their service centers
Please help escalate this issue and ensure that customers are not blamed for manufacturing or fitting defects.
