We had booked a trip through Savaari from Bangalore to Tirupati. I have raised a formal complaint with the Savaari. The driver was rude, didn’t have sense to kids or ladies, utterly stupid, did not have any understanding of the city (Tirupati), wanted me to open the Google map and guide hm through.
He took us to the wrong bus stand, because of him we lost the opportunity of darshan on Saturday. We had to spend Rs 5K, for Hotel as we had to wait for another day.
Me and family were stranded near the Tirumala check post at 11 AM on 3rd Sept. We had to take a local transport with 2 kids of 3yrs and an aged parent (65yrs).
We were drenched in rain and did not have a place to stay or keep our luggage. We were sitting on the stairs of the TTDC accommodation with all bags and baggage.
Had called Savaari Contact Center – CC (approx 12 Noon) to formally lodge a complaint and ask for an alternate cab. Had assured will pay the rate of Innova even if they arrange a smaller car like a Desire or Logan. I was told to wait for a call back.
After waiting for 6 Hours (until 6 PM) booked a local cab to come back to Bangalore (paying 5.8K Rs). Later the Savaari CC callas at 6:45 PM to say there is no alternate car available and I should take the same car back. As per them the driver should have contacted me around 5 PM to coordinate. I clarified that did not happen. I also clarified that after waiting for 6 hours had booked alternate cab and that it is not my mistake that Cab driver did not call me. I had no way of knowing the cab driver was now ready to take us back.
Now after coming to Bangalore, I am getting harassed to pay for the complete trip. Savaari already has close to 4000Rs of mine. I am asked to pay for return trip + driver charges etc.
I am getting harassed to pay in excess for a mistake which not mine. I am scared that they will send thugs / goons to house as they know my address. Not sure if I need to goto police and lodge a formal complaint seeking support.
I am posting here, to get some counsel on what I need to do to protect my family and my interest from these people.
