This is to bring to your kind attention that how customers like me are being scammed on everyday by REDBUS.
Booked a AC Deluxe bus (as mentioned in REDBUS mobile app) for Rs. 1900 from Katra to Jammu. Now below is the story of the harassment for 6 hours that we had gone through.
Harassment 1:Upon reaching the bus I asked the conductor to keep my luggage, to my utter shock he charged me 100 Rs as it seemed to be a practice with online customers
Harassment 2: Since I was travelling with family(me, my wife & mother in law) I had booked the seats together but was denied that particular seat and was alloted a front seat which was single sleeper(but later turned to double when they picked up more road side passengers)
Harassment 3 : It was worst than a local bus might be redbus standard of AC bus is like that, stopped everywhere and randomly picked up road side passengers which is very unsafe as you would all agree.
Harassment 4: The seat alloted to me was single sleeper but suddenly it turned to double and I was asked to share it with another passenger till the last stop.
Harassment 4: The bus was not cleaned for over a decade, AC was not working and was stinking. Please check the attached photo for details.
The journey was not less than a nightmere, you can imagine in what trauma we have spent those 6 hours
Please take necessary action and help me to get justice and kindly take necessary steps to make travel safer in India.
