After several phone calls and complain I don’t get any service from Greaves Electric Mobility, Coimbatore – 641 402, Tamil Nadu.
I have purchased an E-Scooter (Ampere Zeal Ex) on 30-06-2022 from Kumarghat Show-room, Tripura. On 27/09/2023 the battery of my scooty has been damaged. I went the shop from where I purchased (120 Km from my present location), the dealer checked and raised the complain to your office on 29/09/2023. But I feel astonished when I came to know your company did not provide any minimum quantity of spare parts to the dealer. Only one dealer provide service throughout the state without any extra service battery even though it is found that a good percentage of complain against battery/charger has been received from consumer end. That means in Tripura an E-scooter owner (purchase from your esteemed company) has to wait 15-20 days for minimal Battery/Charger problem. Is that the correct way to promote E-mobility? Being an Energy professional I am shocked and disappointed.
To assist the acceptance of electric vehicles (EVs) in the country, the central government has announced a number of promotional measures in the previous ten years, including tax incentives for electric vehicle owners, public EV charging infrastructure development, and so on. The state cabinet approves the Tripura Electric Vehicle Policy 2022 in order to cut down environmental pollution and promote electric vehicles for 5 years under the transport department.
It is my humble request to the company to create proper dealer & service network in Tripura so that an EV owner does not feel himself as deprived or committing a big mistake of his life by choosing to pay more than conventional vehicles available in the market.
