I have a loan through a third party where the due dates are the 1st of every month. On the 1st of Jan 2018 the bank tried to withdraw the money but were not able to as the salary came into the account 30-45 minutes later. I got in touch with the 3rd party (Snapmint) and spoke to the team, they sent me a manual payment link through which the amount was cleared. On the 7th of Jan kotak withdraws the last 590/- from the account on claims that the ecs was not cleared for the month. I dropped an email to which i was shut down. Now they are calling constantly stating they do not have the ecs information and that i have not paid the amount. They then claim that my account details might have been leaked and decide to block the card i’ve been using. It is of no use talking to the bank reps as they decide happily to screw people over. I will fight till i get my query resolved and will not stop.
