I went to Goa with my family for a vacation on 18th Feb 2023. In Goa, we were approached by Royals club international executives. Based on some free scratch cards, they said they will offer us some gifts.
They took us to one hall and explained about the Royals international club benefits. They were asked to accept or reject the membership on the same day and somehow we accepted their membership(brain fade) and paid 90000 INR. Later the next day when we thought about the membership we felt that is not something required for us, so we sent a mail for the cancellation of the membership.
RCI said they will deduct 25000 INR for the cancellation and we have agreed since we don’t have other options. They asked us to wait for 45 days for the refund.
In between these 45 days, We have approached RIC through mail on the status of the refund. They said they are still working on the process.
In the end of 45 days (on 13-Apr-2023 ), we again enquired about the refund but they said they will not refund anything saying ‘Our membership fees are non-refundable at any circumstances.’.
Later i also verified the documents I have signed with RCI, it has nothing about the charges or non-refundable membership fee, so I believe RCI should provide a full refund to us. Can you please help in getting a full refund
