I am writing to lodge a formal complaint against NestAway for failing to refund the full amount of my security deposit despite fulfilling all the requirements and terms as per the agreement.

Move-Out Application: Submitted in July 2024. Move-Out Date: 31st August 2024.
I was assured by the NestAway team that the security deposit would be refunded in full within 45 days of moving out. NestAway team member Mr. Sxxxxh Sxxxxxd confirmed that the full refund of ?27,000 was due and asked me to provide a canceled cheque and passbook for processing the refund.
On 27th November 2024, after repeatedly following up, I contacted Zonal Manager, Mumbai, who claimed deductions for early move-out charges and September 2024 rent, which are untrue and were never communicated to me during the move-out process.
Despite their promise of a 45-day refund timeline, it has been over 90 days, and I am still awaiting the balance of ?15,000. This delay has caused financial stress and inconvenience, violating their own policies and terms.
