My iPhone 7 – 128 Gb was replaced under warranty period due to a crashing issue (applications crashed frequently). The replaced set also had an issue with the screen (the phone was not working properly and the service center detected an issue with the screen), and the screen was replaced within the 3 month warranty period of the replaced set.
And now, this set (which was new) has suddenly stopped working even before completing an year!! Service center says the motherboard is gone. How can a new phone stop working suddenly without even being dropped or any liquid contact? This set surely had a manufacturing defect!
And now the service center is asking us to pay 29000 INR for the phone replacement as the replaced set (despite being a new one which should have a 1 yr. warranty) only had 3 months warranty, which is over. We have already paid service charges of Rs. 1500 with no output!
Either Apple should return our complete money for the actual set (INR 70,000), as I cannot use such a bad quality phone which cannot even work for 1 year at a go (leave aside 2-3 years), or they should provide the replacement without charging for it.
Please help!
