This is in reference to my aircel number mentioned above. On 4th September 2017 I had been to Aircel Gallery Store in Andheri west to purchase a duplicate Sim card for the new phone purchased. After paying Rs.70 and submitting the required documents as asked by Mr.Kxxxn working as customer care executive in the store I was promised that the card would get activated within 24hours.
The next day i.e. on 5th September when my card was not activated even after 24 hrs I had to again visit the aircel gallery where I was told that Mr.kxxxxn who handles these requests hasn’t reported to work and the other staff members had no clue about how to help me. When called the customer care service number I was told that they haven’t received any such request and hence the card is still inactive.
After getting my call transferred to the complain department and explaining them the situation I was told that they would look into this matter and the same would be escalated to the upper management who would in turn review the problem and take action against the store.
I was also told that the problem would get resolved asap but no commitment was made whatsoever. It’s more than 24 hrs since I had the conversation with customer care but till date I haven’t received any response which is forcing me to post a complaint against Aircel
Even after buying a new phone I am unable to use the services as my old sim card isn’t working and the new sim card is still inactive. I would like Aircel to compensate for this loss of use caused to me as there had been many instances in past as well where the customer service was pathetic on their party
