Complaint against Yatra.com’ for Cash Back offer – Rs.1980/-:

Mr. Sai Shankar of Hyderabad (sn.saishankar(at)ril.com) bought tickets through Yatra.com by credit card on 27.03.09 (round trip Hyderabad to coimbatore). Cash back of Rs.1980/- was promised to be credited to his credit card account within 30 days from date of travel (10th &onward 13th Apr’09-return). Mr. Sai Shankar had followed up for more than 15 times on STD phone , but everytime he was told that there was a technical problem and that cash back refund would happen within 7-10 days. When nothing happened till 21-07-2009, he posted a complaint with the Forum and the matter was taken up with Yatra.com. Mr. Shankar finally got his cash back money on 07-08-2009.

Replacement of Khadai by Homeshop18: Pratibha Goel of Ambala cantt, Haryana (gpratibha.phy[@]gmail.com) bought a tawa, fry pan and khadai set from HS18. The handle of the khadai was broken on delivery. She called the customer care of HS18 for replacement but they said the customer has to courier it back to HS18 otherwise they will not replace. Complaint against MakeMyTrip.com for non-receipt of ticket/refund – Rs.8,871/-: Mr. Jaikesh Sudheer of Bangalore (princejake(at)gmail.com) had tried to book a ticket from Dubai to Bangalore on 11-03-2010. The payment was from his ICICI bank account but no ticket was issued by MakeMyTrip. Inspite of his various calls to the cutomer care he neither received the ticket nor the refund. Refund from Suitslabel – Rs.990/-: Ms Dilna D, Trivandrum had placed an order for designer kurtis on Suitslabel 06-04-2019 against cash on delivery. Customer received a different product and not the same as shown in the portal and ordered by her. She emailed to them about the discrepancy but there was no response.
