On 19.5.20, my son at Bangalore, along with me, ordered for a Samsung LED 32 inch Smart TV (Model UA32F5500AR priced Rs. 33,999) through FLIPKART. While installing the TV received, Samsung technician found it as DEFECTIVE, and he also mentioned that the model being obsolete was not serviced by Samsung any more. Accordingly, Flipkart collected back the set. Thereafter, without discussing or even intimating us about possible alternate models of similar price (32″ or 40″) Flipkart sent a much cheaper different model (UA32R4500ARXXL with price Rs.27,900 as pasted on the box). The installation technician on opening this box, to our and his utter shock, found inside an entirely different and a much cheaper model UA32N41010ARXXL/UA32N4010ARLXL
Fed up with the delay, I asked Flipkart to pay us back at least the difference between what was paid for the TV as ordered (Rs.33,999) and the non-Smart TV actually discovered inside the box and installed, that is, at least pay us Rs. 22,000 (=Rs. 33,999-Rs.11,999) along with whatsoever interest, and provide an invoice for the TV actually discovered inside. Every time they are saying that they are looking into this, but time passed without any action so far. Since then again waiting.
